Our Name

Our name and our visual identity carry historical symbolism, associated with the ancient myth of Apollo, of which the lyre and the laurel, Laurus in Latin, are dedicated representations.

After having defeated the serpent Python, the god purified himself in the valley of Tempé, covered with laurels with which he crowned his head with branches. He then entered the city of Delphi, at the foot of Mount Parnassus, as a victor.

Academic ornament or adornment on the heads of Roman emperors, the laurel, among other secular virtues, has since been synonymous with victory and wisdom.

Our Ambition

By analogy, it sanctions the success that our expertise aims to achieve in the businesses and aspirations of our clients, whatever the maturity of their assets (creation, development, generational transmission).

Far from being acquired, sometimes nebulous, their success requires the definition of an adequate strategy, rigorous preparation and constant adaptation over time to lay solid foundations and thus avoid the stumbling blocks that arise on the path to their realization and even more so to their sustainability.

After his victory, Apollo gave the poet musician Orpheus a seven-stringed lyre. He added two to bring their number to nine, in homage to the nine Muses who inspired his art. The man descended into the Underworld to look for his beloved Eurydice and charmed the monsters who inhabited it with his lyre.

Our Identity

Like the strings of an instrument playing a unique melody, Laurus Conseil was born from the complementarity of four partners with a common vision and professional experience of independence. Deeply anchored in our DNA, we establish this value as a moral compass towards our customers and our partners. The guidelines that we define are free from any acquaintance or partisan consideration. Each client is unique and can claim personalized support (advice, arrangements, exclusion criteria).

Our Strategy

We do not claim to radically reinvent a profession whose first stones were laid a long time ago. However, we combine, in substance and form, its traditional approach with the developments and issues in which it is now involved (digitalization, environment, ethics, to name a few).

Each relationship we have with a client represents for us an intuitu personae moral contract. We place advice, without any complacency, at the center of our approach. Listening is its gateway, dialogue its cornerstone. This global approach to heritage does not aim to assert truths, it aims above all to make the wishes of our clients coincide with their needs by providing the appropriate structure

Notaries, lawyers, jurists, accountants, auditors, brokers, promoters and insurers are all interlocutors who allow us to deal with each subject in good intelligence and in complete confidentiality. Whatever the area of expertise required, we work together to provide tailor-made support (advice and product). Even if it means sometimes deviating from the turnkey solutions usually encountered, we do not hesitate to offer more artisanal constructions which, by moving the right pieces onto the right squares at the right time, mate.

Our Approach

Our approach is clear and methodical, listening, discussing, then consulting, if necessary, the experts around us to propose a strategy and unique arrangements for each person. When the recommendations allow us to match desires and needs, we collaborate.
